CLPT Mega Training Days

Join Coach Cindy Lewis of CLPerformance Training on Sunday, February 7th from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at Hero Endurance Sport in Toronto to shake off the January blues and get re-focused on your training goals. It’s a day of strength training, mental endurance techniques, cycling with power and refining your run technique. Maybe even a few goodies to reward your efforts!

Schedule
8:00 – 10:00 Ride – Power based training session with instruction on pacing in training and racing, and cycling skills.
10:30 – 12:00 Run – Lecture on run form, pacing in training and racing, and a group run to put it all together.
Lunch Break
1:00 – 2:00 Strength training for endurance athletes presentation and practical
2:00 – 3:00 Mental strength session
3:00 – 4:00 Bike Maintenance refresher

CLPerformance Training is about changing lives through endurance sport. Through coaching and one-on-one training, CLPT helps people discover how much they can accomplish, and the difference it will make in their lives.

Physical Strength Training
Led by Coach Cindy Lewis of CL Performance Training. This is an educational & experiential session designed to build functional strength to prevent injury and prepare athletes for their base and build training. Prepare to “work through the wobble”.

Mental Strength for Endurance Athletes
Laura Cerlon, Life & Wellness coach, will lead a discussion on how to identify and work through challenges that are in the way of reaching goals – both athletic and on a personal level. Laura’s background combines a corporate career with diverse life and athletic experience – and a working knowledge of rediscovering the joy of life by becoming ‘unstuck’.

Cycling with Power
A 2 hour ride on computrainers with a focus on power based training. Coach Cindy will lead the group ride and provide individual feedback, along with training, racing and cycling skills.
Equipment required: bike, training skewer, heart rate monitor, clipless pedals and cycling shoes.

Running Form & Group Run
Lecture on running form, pacing in training and racing, and running skills.
Coach Al Caballero and Coach Cindy Lewis will provide feedback and lead an outdoor run.
Equipment required: Running shoes, weather appropriate clothing, nutrition/hydration for one hour run.

Location & Details
Hero Endurance Sport studio, founded by John Lettieri, a CLPT coaching success story. Located at 78 Signet Drive, Vaughan Parking on location is free. Non-members of Hero Endurance Sport, please bring your own towel. Changing facilities are available.

Registration $85.00

Athletes coached by Cindy Lewis receive 10% discount.
