Improve your triathlon swimming by improving your technique!  Identify ways you can improve your efficiency in the water, so you can swim faster with the same amount (or less!) energy, get a faster swim time, and come out of the water with more energy available to put into your bike and run!

CLPT Coach’s will teach you about Triathlon Swimming in classroom before the pool swim and then will be on the pool deck to teach you how to improve your own individual stroke and how to swim faster with your flexibility and body type.  Video Analysis of your stroke is included.

$65.00+HST for CLPT Athletes
$72.50+HST for non-CLPT Athletes

Structure of the Clinic

10:00am-11:00am: Presentation on the basics of the freestyle stroke and triathlon swimming.  This will include breaking down the freestyle stroke and explaining the mechanics of the stroke as it relates to propulsion in the water, and using your own strength and body mechanics to get yourself through the water as quickly and efficiently as possible.  We’ll also talk about open water swimming skills and how they differ from pool swimming.

11:00am-12:00pm:  Swim session in the pool.  CLPT coaches will be on deck with athletes guiding them through various drill and workout sets to identify how the can improve their swim stroke to become more efficient – and faster!  This includes video analysis of every athlete’s stroke from above the water and under the water.

After the clinic is over each athlete will receive a video of their own stroke with some tips on what to work on in future workouts.
