CLPT Group Training Day – Saturday, May 6th!
If the weather prevents us from riding today…we’ll pick another day to run this event.
What to expect:
Meet at 7:45 at CLPT headquarters (2966 Jackson Drive, Burlington) and be ready to ride at 8 am sharp.
We will head out as a group and complete a 30 minute warm up. From there we will split into groups based on ability, as necessary. Everyone can choose to ride the planned loop for 3 hours. This is a group social event, so ride at your own pace. This will be great for cyclists of all abilities! From there we will regroup and head back to headquarters for a run off the bike, for those who are interested. Please join us afterwards for a social and lunch at CLPT headquarters.
What to Bring:
- bike (tri or road), helmet, sunglasses, cycling shoes, tool kit with inner tubes/CO2 or pump
- prepare for the weather, bring extra layers, arm warmers, jackets, gloves, and a hat just in case it is chilly
- WATER/sports drink, your bike must hold at least 2 bottles
- running shoes, running clothes, hat, socks
- sunscreen
- change of clothes for after
- we will have Powerbar, Scratch, Base Performance nutrition available
- bring your own nutrition if you prefer
