One of our athletes participated in her first training camp in Mt-Tremblant, and came away with a fresh perspective on her sport, her tribe, and her goals. Here’s an excerpt from her blog:
“One of the best lessons from the weekend was experiencing how easily we can push through our fears if we have the support from a positive or courageous influence. Heading out to ride hills in the rain takes some guts. Getting into really cold and wavy water takes insanity. The sentiment of the group turned from hesitancy and reluctance (or fear) to an attitude of ‘let’s go for it!’ when our coaches set it up, explained how to deal with the situation, and one person made the commitment to go. The rest of the group pushed through whatever they were feeling and followed.”
