Swim Clinic: Sunday February 23, 2025
Join us for a coached swim clinic at Glendon College Athletic Centre at 2275 Bayview Ave, North York, ON M4N 1J8 on Sunday February 23th, 2024 from 11am-1pm. Cost: $50.00 + HST.
This clinic will include 30 minutes on deck learning about the components of a swim stroke and how they should be performed and then a 90 minute session in the pool. The in-pool session with include 30 minutes learning drills to work on various stroke components – learn the WHY and HOW for these drills, followed by 50-60 minutes of a swim workout while coaches provide stroke feedback.
You will leave this clinic feeling with a better understanding of the mechanics of the freestyle stroke – and, stronger and more confident with your freestyle swimming. Long Ride: Wednesday May 21, 2025
When: Wednesday May 21, 2025, 9:00am start at Coach Cindy’s house in Kirkfield, ON.
Cost: Free for CLPT athletes; $35.00+HST for non-CLPT athletes.
Join CLPT Coaches Cindy Lewis-Caballero and Sandie Orlando for a big WEEKDAY of training!! If you have a flexible work schedule, or can afford to take a training day mid week, sign up and join us – we promise it will be full of a lot of athletic work!!
Starts from Coach Cindy’s house at 9:00am. 60-120km bike ride in beautiful Kawartha Lakes.
Cost is $35.00 per non-CLPT athlete to cover the cost of insurance and your coaches time. Athletes should be able to ride 23-25km/hour minimum over 60km. Different pace groups will develop over the course of the day with enough participants.
